— Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley will miss 4 to 6 weeks with a fractured right hand, the Houston Chronicle reported Sunday.

Beverley suffered the injury during a 114-97 win over Detroit on Saturday.

“I went for a low strip and my hand went back,” Beverley told the Chronicle. “I kept playing with it. It still doesn’t feel like it’s broken. I still feel like I could finish the game. It’ll be four to six (weeks). I’m going to work on my left hand now.”

Beverley is averaging 9.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game this season. The 25-year-old is in his second season with the Rockets after playing professionally in Ukraine, Greece and Russia following his 2008 departure from Arkansas.
