Sunday recruiting tidbits

There are numerous Arkansas recruits participating in the three major All American games this week. Below is the list of prospects and where they're playing.

U. S. Army All American

TE Will Gragg of Pine Bluff and QB Ty Storey of Charleston will be participating in the Under Armour combine.

North Little Rock WR K.J. Hill, DE Daytrieon Dean of Ft. Smith Northside and Dardanelle defensive end Parker Witt are in-state juniors taking part in the Army combine. RB Denzel Mitchell of Jonesboro and QB Breyline Smith of Conway are sophomores that are expected to attend the combine.

Out-of-state prospects expected to take part are OL Erik McCoy of Lufkin, Texas, WR Jaelan Austin of Grand Prairie, Texas and sophomore WR Teryn Savage of Raleigh, N.C.

Junior SG King McClure of Triple A Academy in Dallas scored 50 points by going 12 of 14 on two pointers, 7 of 9 three pointers, 5 of 6 on free throws, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in 92-73 win over previously undefeated San Antonio Alamo Heights to win the Westlake Holiday Tournament in Austin.

NLR junior SG Kevaughn Allen had 15 points and 3 three pointers for the Charging Wildcats in the 69-57 victory over Springdale in Cola Cola Classic on Saturday

Arkansas PG signee Anton Beard was 6 of 11 FGs, including 3 three pointers for 20 points and was named MVP. Junior K.J. Hill was 6 of 9 for 17 points.

Springdale junior PG Tereke Eckwood had 15 points, 6 assists, 7 rebounds and 2 steals in a losing effort against North Little Rock.
