Signing day tidbits
One of the nation's best running backs, Alex Collins has committed to Arkansas.
Running back Alex Collins to Arkansas looks very good. Do not expect anything to change that at this point.
Collins, 5-11, 210, 4.4 of South Planation is a four-star recruit who pledged to the Hogs over Miami, Florida, Florida State, Wisconsin and a host of other schools.
Offensive lineman Denver Kirkland, 6-5, 330, 5.1 of Miami Washington high school said Arkansas linebacker coach Randy Shannon told him the good and bad where other schools only spoke of the positives. That sit well with him and liked Shannon's honesty and that helped him be a Hog.
He said offensive line coach Sam Pittman was his favorite O-line coach he was recruited by and looks forward to playing for him.
He and his mother both felt Arkansas was a great fit for him and he looks forward to growing as a young man while in Fayetteville. That was very important to him.
Despite all the drama, Alex Collins tells @nbc6 he's going to sign with Arkansas tomorrow #SigningDayon6
