Diamond Hogs will have 18 games televised

— Arkansas will have 11 baseball games shown on regional cable network Cox Sports, bringing the total number of regular season games televised to 18.

Cox will televise nine of the Razorbacks' Southeastern Conference games in addition to the seven televised as part of the SEC Network's package. Arkansas' entire home series against Texas A&M will be televised with Cox picking up the Sunday game in addition to a pair of ESPN telecasts, and it will also show two games in home series against LSU and Mississippi State.

In all, the Razorbacks will have 16 of 30 SEC games shown on TV.

Arkansas' annual game in North Little Rock - against Mississippi Valley State - in March will be shown on Cox, as will a home game against Oklahoma in April.

The Razorbacks had 20 regular season games televised last season, including eight by Cox.

Arkansas, a consensus No. 1 nationally in the preseason, will open the season Friday with the first of a three-game series against Western Illinois.
