Tuesday recruiting tidbits

Running back Madre London is planning to visit Arkansas this summer.

Fort Lauderdale, (Fla.) St Thomas Aquinas juniors, defensive lineman Anthony Moten and running back Madre London plan to attend an Arkansas camp this summer.

Moten has several offers while London, 6-1, 205, 4.53 seconds in the 40 yard dash, reports scholarship offer from Cincinnati, South Carolina and Rutgers. He attended Bryant high school as a freshman.

Their teammate and receiver Corey Holmes is also a possibility to visit.

Junior quarterback Isaac Jackson, 6-3, 215, 4.6 seconds on the 40 yard dash, of Fort Smith Southside will visit LSU on Saturday. Video highlights click here

Junior defensive lineman Michael Sawyers, 6-3, 295, 4.9 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Nashville, (Tn.) Ensworth said he will definitely visit Arkansas. He has an offer from Vanderbilt. Video highlights click here

Arkansas signee and offensive tackle Dan Skipper, who also pitches and plays first base, hit 87 MPH on the radar gun while pitching last year.

Safety Nick Glass of Suwanee, (Ga.) Peachtree Ridge has tweeted he plans to visit Arkansas. The Georgia commitment said he's looking to visit April or May.

Arkansas Baptist College defensive back Jimmy Jean has signed with Alabama-Birmingham.

Jean, 6-3, 195 of Pompano Beach, Fla. had a 3.8 cumulative GPA and will be receiving his degree in May. He recorded 54 tackles, 4 interceptions, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, 3 fumble recoveries, and 3 pass break-ups this past season.

The Buffalos also had defensive back Dalton Patterson sign with Western Kentucky.

Safety Nick Glass, 6-1, 203, 4.45 of Suwanee (Ga.) Peachtree Ridge said cornerbacks coach Taver Johnson has stayed in contact with him and that's a big part of him wanting to visit Arkansas in April or May. He said Hog defensive back Ray Buchanan Jr., who attended Peachtree Ridge, has told him lot of positive things about Arkansas.

The Georgia commitment said he still likes the Bulldogs but they signed five safeties in the 2013 class. He likes Arkansas' depth chart and believes he could get early playing time.

He said Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Ohio St., Arkansas, Ole Miss, UCLA and South Carolina are his top schools.

Glass estimates having about 40 offers.

2016 G Adrian Moore of Conway will attend Arkansas' game against Missouri on Saturday.

Arkansas basketball signee and Little Rock Hall forward Bobby Portis will sit out tonight's game because of the ankle injury he suffered on Friday. He said it will be a game time decision on whether he'll play on Friday night.
