Before visiting Arkansas on Saturday, shooting guard King McClure, 6-3, 200 pounds of Triple A Academy in Dallas had attended games at Texas and Baylor. His father, LeRoy said the Arkansas trip was the best of the three mainly because the Hogs won while the Longhorns and Bears lost their games.
The game atmosphere was top-notch, according to Mr. McClure. He said he and King have noticed the Hogs improving since the first part of the season. Arkansas' style of play is the same of King's high school and King believes it would make for a smooth transition should he pick the Hogs.
McClure is rated the No. 4 prospect in the country in the 2015 class along with being the No. 2 shooting guard by future150.com. The McClures were able to spend time with Coach Mike Anderson after the game and told King is very wanted to Arkansas.
2016 shooting guard Adrian Moore, 6-4, 170 of Conway and his father, Dennis along with 2015 guard KeVaughn Allen of North Little Rock and 2015 center Sam Dunkum, 6-10 of Little Rock Christian took in Saturday's game. The game atmosphere was the highlight of the trip. Moore has offers from Arkansas and Baylor.
Arkansas signee and Little Rock Hall forward Bobby Portis, 6-91/2, 220 attended the game too. He played in Friday's game, his first since suffering an ankle injury Feb. 8. He said he's about 70%.
Junior point guard Kahron Ross, 5-11, 142 of Jonesboro also made the trip to Fayetteville for the game. Linebacker Kevin Mouhon, 6-2, 225, 4.6 of Norcross, Ga. said he's looking to visit Arkansas in the spring. The Hogs are one of his 13 offers. He said he's heard great things about Arkansas' facilities.
He said he called cornerbacks coach Taver Johnson last week and was able to talk to several other coaches after being put on speaker phone. Video highlights click here

2014 receiver Jacob McCrary of Miami Coral Reef said on Twitter that he's favoring Clemson at this point but added West Virginia, Arkansas and Florida State are in the hunt too.
2014 defensive lineman Craig Evans, 6-3, 325, 5.0 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin said on the Recruiting Thursday radio show that he's looking forward visiting Arkansas in the near future and seeing defensive line coach Charlie Partridge and Coach Bret Bielema. He said the two were a big part of why he committed to Wisconsin at one point and why he likes Arkansas so much. He's originally from Jackson, Miss. and is looking forward to getting back to the south. Not a big fan of Wisconsin winters.
