Ty Storey update

#4 QB Ty Storey looks down field as a Ozark defender pressures him.

Charleston sophomore quarterback Ty Storey, 6-3, 216 pounds is healing well from his recent knee surgery to repair his ACL which he injured during the season. He meets with famed Dr. James Andrews next Monday for a follow-up and to discuss any limitations for spring football.

Storey threw for 4,446 yards and 49 touchdowns while completing 65 percent of his passes this past season. He's been invited to participate in both the Nike and Under Armour summer camps.

On Feb. 2, he visited Arkansas for an unofficial visit and met with Coach Bret Bielema, offensive coordinator Jim Chaney and tight end coach Barry Lunney and was told they liked what they've seen on film and invited him to come to some spring football practices. The coaches told him they look forward to building a relationship with him and learning more about him as a person as well as a quarterback.

Storey will visit Auburn this weekend for their Junior Day. He was offered by Coach Gus Malzahn while at Arkansas State.
