Wednesday recruiting tidbits

Highly regarded junior offensive lineman Natrell Curtis. 6-3, 295 pounds of Phoenix Mountain Pointe high school said he has talked to Arkansas offensive line coach Sam Pittman three times. He said the two are in

the beginning stages of their relationship but said Pittman is a cool and funny guy.

His teammate and fellow offensive lineman Kenny Lacy took a visit to Arkansas and told him the fans were crazy and the atmosphere was great. While tempted by the Hogs, Lacy signed with UCLA. Curtis, who has 13 offers, including the Razorbacks, said Arkansas is a school he would like to visit.

Lakeside Coach Jared McBride is high on the talent of junior quarterback Garrett Carson, who finished up his first season as a starter for the Rams.

McBride, who has coached several signal callers, including Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen while the offensive coordinator at Fayetteville and said Carson's skill level is right up there with all of them.

Carson, 6-2, 218, 4.9 completed 158 of 275 passes for 2,067 yards and 22 touchdowns while throwing only 5 interceptions this past season. La. Tech and La.- Monroe are showing interest. McBride said Hog tight end coach Barry Lunney Jr. plans to come by the school for a spring practice during the evaluation period. Video highlights click here

Linebacker-running back Chris Eastburn, 6-1, 235, 4.8 of Lake Hamilton is drawing interest from Arkansas, and Auburn. He said Arkansas tight end coach Barry Lunney Jr. visited his school in Jan. He plans to attend an Arkansas camp this summer. He pitches and plays center field in baseball. A lefty, Eastburn has hit 85 mph on the radar gun. Video highlights click here

2015 receiver K.J. Hill of Bryant scored 30 last night in a 64-36 victory over El Dorado Tuesday night. He averaged about 20 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds this season.

Bryant receiver K.J. Hill has been selected to the 2013 future150.com All American basketball team consisting of the top 50 players in the 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 classes. Shooting guard King McClure of Triple A Academy in Dallas also made the team. He'has numerous offers, including Arkansas. For more info click here

Junior running back Jonathan Hilliman of Jersey City, New Jersey said on Twitter he's extremely interested in visiting Arkansas this spring. He has an offer from the Hogs.

Junior running back Derrell Scott of Havelock, N.C. said on Twitter he received an offer from Arkansas.

Offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemuno, 6-6, 300 of Lackawanna C.C. in Scanton, Pennsylvania said he's heard Arkansas is close to offering him.
