Monday recruiting tidbits

Greenwood quarterback Jabe Burgess will visit Arkansas on Wednesday.

Bentonville tight end Jack Kraus, 6-5, 240, 4.9 will not visit Arkansas on Tuesday like he had hoped. He'll visit next week so his father can attend. He has offers from Arkansas, Illinois and Utah State. Video highlights click here

Quarterback Jabe Burgess, 6-2, 180 pounds of Greenwood will arrive at Arkansas at 9 a.m. Wednesday to visit with the coaches. He completed 219 of 296 passes for 3,128 yards, 36 touchdowns and suffered only 5 interceptions in his first year to start for the Bulldogs. He has offers from Illinois and Tulsa.

Offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor, 6-5 1/2, 315 of Lackawanna C.C. in Scanton, Pa. has been talking to Arkansas offensive line coach Sam Pittman and feel like an offer is coming. He currently has nine offers, including Texas A&M, Ohio State and Florida State.

Defensive back Kavin Alexander, 5-11, 185, 4.32 of North Little Rock will be visiting Arkansas along with teammate Juan Day, who's committed to the Hogs. Maxed 300 pounds on the bench press and 475 on the squat during testing today at the school.

According to his Facebook page, defensive lineman Khairi Clark of Hollywood, Fla. received an offer from Arkansas today. He's one of the top prospects in Florida.

Defensive lineman Garrald McDowell of Covington, La. said he plans to visit Arkansas this summer. He attends the same school that produced Hog linebacker Otha Peters. He has an offer from the Hogs.
