Arkansas received a ringing endorsement from a player that never signed with the Hogs.

Offensive lineman Natrell Curtis, 6-3, 295 pounds of Phoenix Mountain Pointe High School is good friends with offensive lineman Kenny Lacy, who attends the same school and inked with UCLA in February. The Hogs tempted Lacy after he made an official visit to Fayetteville on Jan. 25 and almost flipped him from the Bruins despite getting a late start.

"After talking to Kenny, Arkansas seems like a really good place," Curtis said. "Arkansas is big, it's SEC football. I can definitely see myself probably going there for a visit."

Curtis reports having 14 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska and Ohio State. He's talked to by offensive line coach Sam Pittman a couple of times over the phone and also by private messaging on Facebook.

He admits UCLA has an inside track with Lacy on campus.

"He's pretty much my brother, my best friend," Curtis said. "It definitely does but if we play together that's great. If we don't that's fine."

Curtis doesn't know when he'll make a decision and admits to struggling with the idea of committing and getting the process out of the way.

"I wake up and think I want to get it over with," Curtis said. "Then sometimes I want to wait and then at times. I know what i want to do It just goes back and forth. Whatever the time is right I'll make the decision. That could be today, be tomorrow a couple of months from now. I really don't know."
