Wednesday recruiting tidbits

Highly regarded safety Jamal Adams is looking to visit the Hogs this summer.

Highly recruited safety Jamal Adams of Carrollton, Texas, Hebron said he doesn't have an exact time when he narrows his list of 20 offers but Arkansas will make the cut. He's thinking of narrowing the list to at least a top seven. Hog defensive end Deatrich Wise, who attended Hebron, has spoken well of Arkansas and that has him hoping to visit the Razorbacks this summer.

He thinks with Coach Bret Bielema Arkansas has a very good chance of getting back to where they were before the 2012 season.

Adams said he's being recruited by cornerbacks coach Taver Johnson, who visited the school during the contact period before the signing day. He has good things to say about Johnson.

He played on the varsity as a freshman and even started about midway through the season and he said Wise took him under his wing and that led to a quick bonding process. The two had lockers next to one another. He said Wise like a big brother to him and looked up to Wise because of his hard work and other qualities.

Adams, who also has offers from Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Florida, hopes to visit the Hogs this summer.
