RB Bubba Jenkins, 5-10, 210, 4.49 of Springfield, Mo is expected to visit Arkansas today. Has some lower division offers could possibly be a walk-on at Arkansas.

Arkansas is taking a look at Pulaski Academy receiver L.J. Wallace. He's committed to UCA.

As reported last week, Hog offensive coordinator Jim Chaney and running backs coach Joel Thomas will make an in-home visit with Altee Tenpenny on Wednesday. They will also go by his school.

As noted on the above visitor list, the number could change and now safety Kahri Harding and defensive lineman Monty Nelson will not be visiting this weekend.

Receiver Corey Cooper, 6-0, 190 of Raleigh, (N.C.) Millbrook was taking the departure of George McDonald in stride and was actually laughing about him being in his home last night and now is the offensive coordinator at Syracuse. He said he and McDonald talked about him visiting Feb. 1 and is hoping that will be true when he talks to Arkansas again.

Cooper said he and quarterback Austin Allen, an Arkansas commitment, spent a lot of time together while being teammates on the East in the Semper Fi All American game. He said he loved catching passes from Allen and was impressed with his arm strength.

A former Louisville commitment, Cooper, who reports about 17 offers, also plans to visit Clemson and Tennessee.

Athlete Drew Morgan of Greenwood said he wished George McDonald the best of luck. He never expected that right after accepting a SEC job. He said hopefully Coach Bielema will bring in someone soon so he can start his relationship as soon as possible. He said McDonald's leaving doesn't affect him and Arkansas one bit but does make him wonder if he needs to visit Auburn.

The Tigers will be at his school on Thursday.

4:24 update

Running back Bubba Jenkins, 5-10, 210, 4.49 of Springfield, (Mo.) Parkview and his father finished up their visit to Arkansas about 1 o'clock today. They were shown around by graduate assistant coach Terrance Butler and were very impressed with the campus and the stadium. They were asked to come back next week to meet with on-campus recruiting coordinator Chris Hauser.

Jenkins rushed 192 times for 1,327 yards and 19 touchdowns this past season. For his career, he had 441 carries for 3,232 yards and 44 touchdowns while only having one fumble. He has several lower division offers but there's good chance he would walk-on.

DE Joe Sanders, 6-5, 270, 4.69 of LaGrange Ga. met with Hog cornerbacks coach Taver Johnson at school today and set up a Jan. 25 official visit. Johnson told him Bret Bielema would either do an in-home visit with him this week or next week. He's a Tennessee commitment.

Cornerback Lamar Robbins of Miami Southridge said Arkansas linebacker coach Randy Shannon will do an in-home visit with him on Thursday.

Arkansas linebacker coach Randy Shannon went by the school of athlete Donovahn Jones, 6-3, 195, 4.45 of Hampton, (Ga.) Dutchtown high school today. He said the visit well well but no visit has been set up. Jones, who has family in Prescott, visited Fayetteville with his father in July. He's committed to Missouri.

Arkansas defensive coach Charlie Partridge visited the Plantation, (Fla.) South high school to check on running back Alex Collins, who's making an official visit to Arkansas on Jan. 25. He's visiting Miami this weekend.

Defensive lineman Ke'tyrus Marks, 6-2, 285, 4.9 of Riviera Beach, (Fla.) Suncoast said Partridge will be by his school on Wednesday.He plans to make an official visit on Jan. 25.

Partridge visited the school of linebacker Skai Moore, 6-3, 210, 4.5 of Ft. Lauderdale University today and later made an in-home visit. His coach, Roger Harriott said Moore plans to make an official visit to Arkansas Feb. 1.

Harriott said Partridge and Coach Bret Bielema recruited Moore while at Wisconsin and are why Moore wants to visit the Hogs. He said Partridges' ability to relate to kids makes him one of the best recruiters in the nation.

He foresees Moore weighing in the 230-235 range after he gets into a weight program in college. He said he's actually a better quarterback and receiver than he is a linebacker and he's really high on his skills on defense.

Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema is suppose to make an in-home visit with receiver Devon Allen of Phoenix Brophy Wednesday evening at 7:30 mountain time.

Running back Denzell Evans, 5-11, 210, 4.5 of Bellaire, Tx. said he'll either visit Arkansas Jan. 25 or Feb. 1. He's been communicating with Arkansas for the last month. He said offensive line coach Sam Pittman will visit his school on Wednesday and running back coach Joel Thomas will do an in-home visit. He's committed to Houston.
