Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema and his staff gave Springdale Har-Ber junior defensive lineman Josh Frazier and his mother, Donna the red carpet treatment when they visited on Sunday.

"They had some flyer with my picture on it and had everything organized and everything planned out," Frazier said. "We met with academic counselors and what they would do to get my degree. They have tutors and a book for the players and have a schedule and everything on there to help them balance out their day and help them succeed and get that degree."

Frazier, 6-4, 324, 5.1 seconds in the 40 yard dash, reports scholarship offers from Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn and Arkansas State while drawing interest from numerous others. One of the highlights of the visit was getting to talk to strength and conditioning coach Ben Herbert and seeing the results of his program.

"He showed be a video profile how the players developed when he was at Wisconsin," Frazier said. "He's really excited to be at Arkansas."

Frazier, who was named an Arkansas Democrat-Gazette All Arkansas selection after recording 65 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 4 sacks and a forced fumble, plans to use what he learned from Herbert to get leaner and faster for next season along also knowing how to eat before a work out.

"He gave me a couple of tips..make myself a PBJ (peanut and jelly sandwich) before I go to bed," Frazier said. "Eat half of a PBJ before practice and when practice is over and take a shower and get ready for school. He told about 9 or 10 o'clock eat the other half of the PBJ. He told me you don't ever want to be too hungry. He taught me how to balance out my meals everyday and get a good eight hours of sleep so my muscles can rebuild. "

Frazier described Bielema and the coaches as down-to-earth and genuine.

"They really want to developed a personal relationship with you," Frazier said. "They told me I was a top priority and they want to get me down and commit."

Time spent with defensive line coach Charlie Partridge was informative.

"He's really focused on technique," Frazier said. "He gave me a D-line list on how he develops his d-line players and how you potentially become a starting player for coach Partridge."

While his mother wouldn't mind him choosing the Hogs in the near future, Frazier said he wants to continue to visit other schools and seeing how the Hogs' season plays out before making a decision
