Marks ready to be a Hog

Defensive lineman Ke’tyrus Marks.

Arkansas defensive line coach Charlie Partridge was in South Florida on Tuesday visiting prospects and today is expected to visit defensive lineman Ke’tyrus Marks at his school

Marks, 6-2, 285, 4.9, seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Riviera Beach (Fla.) Suncoast said in Tuesday's Arkansas Democrat-Gazette he'll probably make an oral commitment in the near future.

"Everybody knows Arkansas' great program," said Marks, who hosted Partridge for an in-home visit on Friday. "Everyone knows they're in the SEC He told me they have a position available as far as D-tackles in my recruiting class."

Marks, who plans to officially visit the Hogs Jan. 25, reports having six scholarship offers, including ones from Arkansas, Florida International, Florida Atlantic, Western Kentucky and Massachusetts. Arkansas' new 40 million dollar plus football complex was a topic of discussion

" He told me Arkansas is building new facilities," Marks said. "He said after they build the facilities they'll add more seats to the stadium. I also know Fayetteville is a college town and everyone comes out and supports the team."

Marks visited Florida International over the weekend but is looking forward to his visit to Fayetteville and will likely pledge to the Razorbacks.

"He just told me to come and enjoy the atmosphere of Arkansas and the visit," Mark said. "I'll probably do it (commit) while we're I'm up there."
