Arkansas offered junior running back Joe Mixon, 6-1, 203, 4.6 of Oakley, (Calif.) Freedom on Sunday. He also added offers from Wisconsin, Texas Tech and Texas A&M on the same day. He said he talks to Hog running back coach Joel Thomas on a regular basis. He now has 19 offers.
Greenwood junior quarterback Jabe Burgess, 6-2, 180 pounds is starting to receive strong interest from LSU. He has an offer from Illinois.
Hearing Arkansas has offered 2014 defensive lineman Garrald McDowell of Covington, La. He attended the same high school Arkansas linebacker Otha Peters did.
Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema and offensive line coach Sam Pittman made an in-home visit with UCLA commitment and offensive lineman Kenny Lacy of Phoenix Mtn. Pointe tonight. Lacy, who visited the Hogs over the weekend, said in a text message that the visit went great.
