Thursday recruiting tidbits

Defensive lineman Craig Evans of Sun Prairie, Wis. is a prospect the Hogs hope to land in the 2014 class.

Arkansas defensive line coach Charlie Partridge tweeted a photo of what appeared to be a banner of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin high school today. Junior defensive lineman Craig Evans, 6-3, 325, 5.0 seconds in the 40 yard dash, mentioned on his Facebook page that Partridge did visit his school today.

Evans, who was committed to Wisconsin but reopened his recruiting, said he's looking to visit the Razorbacks in the future in the Dec. 30 edition of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

Evans' family is originally from Mississippi.

Arkansas is expected to host four or more prospects on official visits this weekend.

Offensive lineman Dwayne Johnson of Bellaire, Tx. is expected to announce his college decision within the three next days. He visited Arkansas over the weekend and will decide from the Hogs and Nebraska.

Razorback commitment and athlete Drew Morgan of Greenwood tweeted that Coach Bret Bielema, offensive coordinator Jim Chaney and defensive coordinator Chris Ash visited with him today.
