— Here some tidbits from the first Day of The Opening at Nike Headquarters with 163 of the top prospects in the nation.

DL Josh Frazier of Springdale Har-Ber was measured at 6-4, 323 pounds. He ran a 5.27 time in the 40, 4.76 shuttle, 37.5 power ball toss and had a 25.9 vertical for a 89.43 SPARQ rating.

Frazier went up against Alabama OL commitment J.C. Hassenauer in two 1-on-1 sessions. The first was a draw with Frazier pushing Hassenauer back to the dummy but wasn't able to get past him. The second one Frazier won with combo of power and speed.

Arkansas DL commitment Bijhon Jackson was measured at 6-1.5 and weighed 330. He had a 5.24 40 time, 38 power ball toss and a 26.6 vertical. He had a SPARQ rating of 83.13.

He got the best of OL Kammy Delp, 6-4, 305 pound of Pomona, California Diamond Ranch the two times they faced off in the 1-on-1 session.

North Little Rock CB Kavin Alexander measured 5-8.5, 185 pounds. He was timed at 4.49 40, 4.04 shuttle, 40 power ball and a 36.2 vertical for a 123.28 rating. The top ten who participated in the finals had ratings of 127.00 and up.

Other Arkansas recruits and their scores.

CB Terrence Alexander measured 5-9.5, 177. He posted a time of 4.45 40, 4.09 shuttle, 34 power ball and a 38.3 vertical. He's rating was 114.78.

WR Malachi Dupre measured 6-2.5 and 186. He posted a 4.58 40, 4.10 shuttle, 35.5 power ball and 42.4 vertical for a 120.72 rating. Dupre said he and his teammates are planning to visit Arkansas July 19 but it's not set in stone.

DE Solomon Thomas measured 6-3 and 261. He posted a 4.95, 4.25 shuttle, 44 power ball and 36.7 vertical for a 121.77 rating. He said at this time he doesn't plan to visit any other schools this summer. He said he'll probably attend an Arkansas game in the fall.

WR Johnnie Dixon measured 5-10.5, 197. He timed a 4.53 40, 4.32 shuttle, 36.5 power ball and 36.2 vertical for a 107.13. rating.

RB Royce Freeman measured 5-11.5 and 227. He timed 4.58 in the 40, 4.07 shuttle, 39 power ball and 33.6 vertical for a 121.17 rating.

S C.J. Hampton measured 6-1 and 93. He had a 4.48 40, 4.43 shuttle, 37 power ball and a 34.7 vertical for a 103.02 rating. He said he plans to visit in July.

DL Garrald McDowell measured 6-1 and 252. He had a 4.99 40, 4.56 shuttle, 29 power ball and a 22.2 vertical for a 60 rating.

S Mattrell McGraw measured 5-10 and 180. He had a 4.59 40, 4.29 shuttle, 36 power ball and a 35.1 vertical for a 99 rating. He said UCLA, Oregon and Florida State are his top three. He's visited all but Florida State who he plans to visit July 27. He said Arkansas isn't one of his top schools because he hasn't visited them yet.

RB Shai McKenzie measured 5-11 and 213. He posted a 4.58 40, 4.33 shuttle, 42.5 power ball and 35.7 vertical for a 120.72 rating.

DE Andrew Williams measured 6-4 and 251. He timed at 4.70 in the 40, 4.44 shuttle, 43 power ball and 33.5 vertical for a 119.22 rating. He said he plans to tweet out his top six schools tonight and Arkansas wouldn't be one but he still plans to visit.

LB Richard Yeargin III measured 6-3 and 225. He had a 4.44 shuttle, 39 power ball and a 30.9 vertical for a 89.98 rating.

In other recruiting news, LB Sharieff Rhaheed said he plans to visit Arkansas July 19 but his coach may push it back. He has decommitted from LSU.

CB Raymond Wingo had an excellent visit to Arkansas today. Some of the players, including Tevin Mitchel spoke very well about Coach Bret Bielema and the staff. The new football complex was a big hit. CB coach Taver Johnson showed Wingo and his family around. He later hung out with his big brother Ronnie.
