Alexander still considering Hogs

Cornerback Terrence Alexander is considering a visit to Arkansas.

— Arkansas is on the outside looking in but cornerback Terrence Alexander hasn’t totally ruled out the Hogs.

“I have a top four right now but the list could change at anytime,” Alexander said. “Right now, it’s Stanford, Ohio State, Ole Miss and Northwestern. “

Alexander, 5-10, 176, 4.4 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of River Ridge, (La.) John Curtis has more than 20 scholarship offers with Arkansas, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Stanford, Ohio State being a few.

“I’m going to try and get to Arkansas,” Alexander said. “It’s a big SEC school that wants me real bad but as far as the schools looking at me and playing wise in the system I like to play in, Arkansas is a top ten or top eight. So my list is liable to change but right now that’s my list.”

Alexander said he has some schools in mind that he would like to visit in July.

“I don’t have any officials yet ,” Alexander said. “But as far as visits, I’ll be hitting up Ohio State and Stanford this summer and maybe Arkansas. Stanford will be around the 26th, 27th and I’ll try and get out there to Ohio State before that.”

Arkansas is also in the hunt for Alexander's teammates, receiver Malachi Dupre, linebacker Kenny Young and safety Mattrell McGraw. He and his other three teammates aren’t looking to attend the same school.

“We talked about it before but it’s really not a big deal,” Alexander said. “We all decided we need to go to the school that’s the best opportunity for you.”
