— The Butler Center for Arkansas Studies is publishing a book on announcers who have broadcast University of Arkansas sporting events.

The center said it is releasing "Voices of the Razorbacks," which is being distributed by the University of Arkansas Press.

The Razorback Sports Network was established more than 60 years ago, and the book features announcers that include Bud Campbell and Paul Eells. The book by Hoyt Purvis and Stanley Sharp traces the history of the venture.

Chuck Barrett currently serves as director of broadcasting for the university, calling football, basketball and baseball games for the Razorbacks.
