Shorter of Newton, Texas said on Twitter July 21 that he'll announce his college decision on Aug. 3 at 11 am. On June 18, he narrowed his list of schools to Arkansas and Texas A&M. He said on Twitter that he had plans to visit Texas on Friday.
Shorter, 5-11, 185, 4.38 seconds in the 40 yard dash, is a prime recruiting target of the Hogs. Video highlights click here
He and his cousin, Hog cornerback D.J. Dean visited Fayetteville during Arkansas' three day camp and made a return trip June 29th, the date Dean reported to Arkansas.
