Sunday recruiting tidbits

Defensive lineman Abu Lamin (98) visited Arkansas on Monday.

As reported in today's Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, defensive lineman Abu Lamin of Fort Scott Community College will in Fayetteville arrive around 9 am on Monday for his visit.

2016 offensive lineman Eli Johnson, 6-21/2, 290 of Oxford, (Miss.) Lafayette said he plans to visit Arkansas on Wednesday. His mother is originally from Lake Village and he has numerous family members in the state. Several of his family members have graduated from Arkansas. He reports offers from Miss. St., Akron and S.E. Louisiana. Video highlights click here

2015 cornerback Rashard Causey Jr., 6-1, 185, 4.4 of Ft. Lauderdale, (Fla.) University High said he, linebacker Richard Yeargin III and defensive lineman Brandon Boyce plan to visit in July. He recently received an offer from the Hogs and now has 11.

Defensive lineman Breeland Speaks, 6-3, 285, 4.9 of Jackson, (Miss.) Callaway said he will attend Arkansas' June 10 camp. He reports offers from Ole Miss, Miss. St., Southern Miss and Louisiana-Lafayette. His brother is the defensive coordinator at the school and played football at UA-Monticello.

His bother told him about the support the Razorbacks enjoy. He played middle linebacker last year and had 136 tackles. As reported on Thursday, his teammate and Ole Miss receiver commitment Dayall Harris plans to attend the June 10 camp. Another teammate, defensive back Ronald Walker, who's also a Ole Miss commitment, plans to make the trip too. Speaks video highlights click here

After talking to several recruits in Mississippi, it's evident the Hogs are taking advantage of the ties defensive quality control coach Brian Early has to the state. He recruited Mississippi while on the UCA staff.

Tight end Will Gragg has added an offer from Ole Miss. The Hogs offered last summer.

Linebacker Kevante Lowery of Smackover tweeted he has received his first offer from Louisiana Tech.

Jonesboro defensive lineman Chuks Ota reported on Twitter that he received an offer from Harding. He has six offers, including Arkansas State.

2015 offensive lineman DaVante Lovett, 6-5, 282 of Strong will attend all three days of Arkansas' camp on June, 9, 10 and 11. His teammates, athletes Jacoby Heard and Tevion Hicks will attend the camp on the 10th.

Lonoke receiver Blake Mack ran a 4.50 seconds in the 40 yard dash today at the Arkansas State camp. He'll camp at Arkansas on June 10.

Springdale Har-Ber offensive lineman Isaac Johnson was offered by Arkansas State today, according to Coach Chris Wood. He also has an offer from Tulsa. It looks like he'll a part of day of the Arkansas camp on June 10th.
