Tuesday camp tidbits

Arkansas assistant Charlie Partridge works with the Razorbacks during practice Saturday morning in Fayetteville.

Today is the last day of Arkansas' three day camp for high school athletes.

One thing to look for today is 2016 DL Austin Capps of Star City possibly getting an offer today. He's been the best D-lineman for the three days.

Capps, 6-4, 298 ran a 5.1 40 yard dash on Sunday and has been tough for the O-linemen to deal with the whole time of the camp. He's extremely strong and moves very well for such a young lineman. He should contend for many national lists in the coming years.

It was easy to see that defensive line coach Charlie Partridge loved working with Capps and sees a ton of potential in the young prospect.

Junior offensive lineman Zach Rogers, 6-3, 290 of Carrollton, Texas Hebron met with Coach Bret Bielema this morning. As noted on Monday, Arkansas is very good shape with Rogers and stands a good chance of getting a commitment at some point.

North Little Rock offensive lineman Curtis Parker, 6-2, 270 and junior defensive lineman Luc Bequette, 6-2, 250 of Champaign Illinois also met with Bielema. Parker and Rogers were the most consistent performers on the O-line during the camp. Bequette, who was attending his first college camp, made nice strides as the camp progressed and became one of the standouts on the defensive side of the ball. His effort is top-notch.

Dollarway athlete Joshua Liddell performed well enough to get a 1-on-1 meeting with Bielmea today and is one to watch for in the future. He could play receiver or safety on the next level.

Junior defensive end Daniel Sprinkle, 6-4, 224 of White Hall was a another prospect who was consistently beating the O-lineman in drills. He showed good speed off the edge and good upper body strength in making a push and driving back the offensive lineman.
