Keaton Miles update

Forward Keaton Miles, who's transferring from West Virginia, visited Arkansas over the weekend.

Forward Keaton Miles, who's transferring from West Virginia, said on Twitter he wanted to thank the University of Arkansas family for a great visit and love.

Miles, 6-7, 207 pounds is taking summer class in Morgantown but plans to enroll in the fall at his new school. He visited Utah June 7 and has plans to visit Colorado State June 21.

Miles started 30 of 32 games as a freshman and was asked to play a defensive role. He said he was lead to believe he would be able to showcase more of his offensive talents as sophomore but only started two of 29 games.

Miles said the family atmosphere that Coach Mike Anderson and his staff at Arkansas have is very impressive and was one of the highlights of his visit. His father, who was celebrating his birthday, accompanied him as did his mother, brother and sister.

The fans also impressed him with their passion and support of the team. He's friends with guard Rickey Scott and has asked him numerous questions about the program. He's very active in the community and he likes how the team is involved with the surrounding area. Very important to him.

Miles plans to visit to Colorado State next weekend and may visit another school but that's up in the air. He visited Utah on June 7. He said he could have a decision after his Colorado State visit. He wants to enroll in the second semester of summer school at his new school.
