Sunday recruiting tidbits

Keaton Miles

West Virginia transfer and forward Keaton Miles will announce his decision Monday at 9 am central time. He's visited Arkansas and Utah. He and Hog football prospect and safety Payton Hendrix are cousins. Hendrix will visit the Razorbacks on Monday.

Arkansas is one of the top five schools for offensive lineman Brian Wallace Jr.

Wallace, 6-6, 304, 5.2 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of St Louis Christian Brothers College High also lists Iowa, Alabama, Nebraska and Ohio State in his five. He has about 20 offers.

As reported earlier, cornerback Kweishi Brown, 6-0, 190, 4.5 Grossmont Community College plans to officially visit the Hogs July 19th. He has offers from Arkansas and Kansas State. Utah, Washington, Colorado are also showing interest.

He said defensive coordinator Chris Ash visited his school twice during the spring evaluation period.

Junior safety Tyree Kinnel, 6-0, 190, 4.47 of Huber Heights, Ohio, Wayne said he hopes to visit the Hogs in July. He said he does plan to attend a game in the fall. He has offers from Arkansas and Kentucky. He had about 90 tackles and 2 interceptions as a sophomore. Cornerbacks coach Taver Johnson is his lead recruiter. Video highlights click here

Receiver Jared Cornelius, 6-1, 190 of Shreveport Evangel lists Arkansas as his number one school out of seven offers, including Tennessee and San Diego State. He plans to visit the Hogs in July. Receivers coach Michael Smith is his lead recruiter. He plays seven different instruments and wants to produce music in the future. Video highlights click here

Pulaski Robinson junior athlete Kristian Thompson, 5-11, 217 was named the wide receiver MVP at the NUC Ultimate 100 Camp this weekend. He had a 4.62 time in the 40, 4.39 time in the pro-shuttle, 9-3 broad jump, 31-inch vertical and did 26 reps of 155 pounds on the bench press. He also won the leadership award at the receiver position.
