Thursday recruiting tidbits

Junior shooting guard Ethan Stair is drawing interest from Arkansas.

Arkansas has made contact with junior shooting guard Ethan Stair, 6-5, 185 pounds of Hazel Green, Alabama. The Hogs along with Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, LSU and Georgia are among the 30 schools or so showing interest. Future 150 rates him the No. 3 prospect in the Alabama class of 2015.

Stair averaged 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assits for his high school and is averaging 22 points for the 15-under Alabama Elite and 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for 16-under. He's looking to visit Fayetteville in August.

Sophomore offensive lineman Eli Johnson, 6-2 1/2, 290, of Oxford (Miss.) Lafayette is trying to visit Arkansas in mid-July. He visited the Hogs in early June. He has three scholarship offers from Mississippi State, Akron and Southeastern Louisiana.

Running back Bubba Jenkins, 5-10, 210, 4.49 of Springfield, Mo. Parkview will report to Arkansas on Saturday to start summer classes for the second semester. He will walk on and bypass some lower division offers.

Cornerback Shawn Boone, 5-10, 180 pounds of West Palm Beach, (Fla.) Dwyer is planning to visit Arkansas on July 20. He reports more than 20 scholarship offers from schools like Tennessee, Ole Miss, Florida State and others.

North Little Rock receiver and point guard K.J. Hill. 6-0, 178, 4.5 seconds in the 40 yard dash, received 10 letters from Arkansas basketball. He attended Arkansas' football prospect camp on June 10 and was one of the 2015 prospects the Hog coaches wanted to take a hard look at.
