On Sunday, McGehee attended the Chris Sailer Kicking competition in Dallas and made the finals in both punting and field goals. Three kids out of the 50 best from Texas including the No. 3, No. 9 and No. 13 kickers in the 2014 class were at this camp. McGehee and the No. 13 ranked kicker both made 60 yard field goals (off the ground - no tee) in the semi-finals to advance to the finals. The finals started with a last man standing starting with a 50 yard field goal which both made. McGehee missed at 55 and the No. 13 ranked kicker won it with the 55 yarder.

In the punting competition, McGehee and the No. 5 punter in the 2014 rankings (who is also a 2nd yr JUCO punter) who came in from California, made the finals. They kicked through seven punts with 4 - 4.5 hang time 50 yarders head to head without separation with the JUCO kid hitting a 5.0 hang time that edged McGehee out. There are nearly 200 kickers and over 50 punters in the nation ranked in the 2014 class.
