Recruiting areas for the Arkansas football coaching staff.

Defensive coordinator Chris Ash -Will recruit junior colleges in Southern California, Northern part of Houston, some of eastern Texas and Chicago

Defensive line coach Charlie Partridge- Wisconsin, Broward County, Palm Beach County and Pittsburgh

Linebackers coach Randy Shannon- Dade County, Fort Meyers-Naples , Tampa, Orlando where there are direct flights to Northwest Arkansas airport, Northern part of Atlanta , Mobile, Alabama

Cornerbacks coach Taver Johnson -Georgia and spot recruit Ohio along with help from defensive backs graduate assistant Nick Caley

Offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Jim Chaney - Missouri, Tennessee, Northeast Arkansas and Memphis

Tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr.- Rest of Arkansas and Northeast corner of Texas.

Running backs coach Joel Thomas- Washington state, east Dallas and east Texas along with the Northern California junior colleges

Offensive line coach Sam Pittman -Oklahoma and Kansas and the junior colleges in Kansas, north Dallas and Fort Worth up to the Oklahoma border.

Receivers coach Michael Smith - South Dallas and Texas junior colleges in that part of the state. Southern part of Houston and below along with Louisiana

Offensive line graduate assistant Eric Mateos - Mississippi and junior colleges in the state

Quarterback graduate assistant coach Tommy Mangino- will help with Kansas junior colleges

Defensive gradate assistant Terrence Butler -Alabama

Defensive lineman Dylan Thompson, 6-5, 280 4.83 of Lombard, (Ill.) Montini said he plans to visit Arkansas this summer. He received an offer from the Hogs last week. He also has offers from Ohio State, Tennessee, Illinois, Vanderbilt and others.

He worked with defensive coordinator Chris Ash and defensive line coach Charlie Partridge while attending the Wisconsin camp last summer.

Offensive lineman Jovan Pruitt, 6-6, 275, 5.2 of Dallas Bishop Dunne has said he plans to visit Arkansas soon. He's being recruited by offensive line coach Sam Pittman and running backs coach Joel Thomas. He visited Arkansas during the Alabama game. He has offers from Texas, Alabama, Norte Dame, Oklahoma and others.

Greenwood quarterback Jabe Burgess visited Arkansas for the Hogs' first practice on Sunday and was able to sit in during the quarterback meetings.
