Monday recruiting tidbits
Junior forward Zylan Cheatman likes Arkansas' style of play.
Running back Kevin Shorter, 5-11, 185, 4.38 of Newton, Texas said he has 13 offers and has Arkansas in his top five. His cousin, cornerback D.J. Dean signed with Arkansas in Feb. He said the combination of what Dean has told him along with Coach Bret Bielema's track record of running the ball has him very interested in the Hogs.

2014 forward Zylan Cheatham, 6-8, 205 of Phoenix Westwind Academy said Arkansas recently offered him. He said Hog associate head coach Melvin Watkins attended one of his games last weekend and said he's the perfect player for Arkansas' system. He said his family's roots originate from Arkansas and he still has several relatives in the state.
Cheatham, who estimates having about 16 offers said he has a vertical of 39-40 inches and calls himself a walking mismatch. He plans to hold off on taking his official visits until his senior year and will announce his decision on his birthday Nov. 17. He said the Razorbacks stand a good chance of getting a visit.
Linebacker Bryson Allen-Williams of Ellenwood, (Ga.) Cedar Grove said he will likely visit Arkansas this summer with his aunt, who graduated from Arkansas in the late 80's. He had said he would visit in the spring.
