One of Arkansas' top 2013 signees, running back Alex Collins arrived in Fayetteville late today and will take in Tuesday's practice.
Collins, 5-11, 210, 4.4 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of South Plantation, Florida high school picked over the Hogs over Miami, Florida, Florida State and Wisconsin. A four-star recruit by national recruiting analyst Tom Lemming of CBS Sports Network, Collins made an official visit to Wisconsin when Coach Bret Bielema and defensive line coach Charlie Partridge was with the Badgers. He made an official visit to Fayetteville Jan. 25 .
Collins and Razorback quarterback signee Austin Allen were teammates at the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl in Carson, California on Jan.4. He was named the Broward County Player of the Year in his first year to play high school football as a junior when he rushed 228 times for 1,786 yards and 28 touchdowns in Class 8A, the highest classification in Florida.
