Jones plans visit to Arkansas

Lee College guard Jamal Jones, who played at Searcy before signing with Ole Miss, has Arkansas in his top five and plans to make an official visit to Fayetteville.

Jones, 6-8, 190 pounds said he has about ten offers but his top five schools in no particular are Arkansas, Texas A&M, TCU, Oregon and San Diego State. He said he plans to take three official visits and the Hogs would definitely get one.

He said he was offered by Coach Mike Anderson last week. He said the offer is a dream come true because of being from the state but noted he's in a different situation and is being recruited by other schools.

Jones said Anderson said he sees him as a one, two, three and a four. In other words, a basketball player.
