Friday recruiting tidbits

Arkansas defensive coordinator Chris Ash is expected to visit Jenks High School in Oklahoma to check on safety Steven Parker today. Parker, 6-3, 190 has more than 20 offers and plans to visit the Hogs in the near future.

Arkansas visited the school of safety Nick Glass, 6-1, 203, 4.45 of Suwanee (Ga.) Peachtree Ridge today. He has more than 40 scholarship offers, including the Hogs.

Cornerback Chris Murphy, 5-10, 180, 4.4 of Marietta Lassiter High School said on the Recruiting Thursday radio show he's been talking to cornerbacks coach Taver Johnson about setting up an official visit. He stands at 20 scholarship offers.

Arkansas defensive line coach Charlie Partridge visited University High School in Fort Lauderdale Thursday to check on linebacker Richard Yeargin III. He also visited Hog running back signee Alex Collins' school South Plantation Thursday morning.

2015 point guard Tereke Eckwood of Springdale has been invited to the ScoutsFocus All American camp in Charottesville, Virginia on June 13-15.

Arkansas football signee Korlis Marshall ran a 10.89 time in the 100 meters at the Class 3A state meet on Thursday.

Defensive end Andrew Williams, 6-4 1/2, 247, 4.8 of McDonough, (Ga.) Eagle’s Landing Christian High School said on the Recruiting Thursday radio show that he planned to visit Arkansas this summer. He has more than 40 offers, including a recent one from the Hogs.
