Diamond Hogs to play at Giants' park in 2014

Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn directs his players Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, during the third inning of the Hogs' win over Western Illinois at Baum Stadium in Fayetteville.

— Arkansas will play three games at AT&T Park in San Francisco in 2014, coach Dave Van Horn said Monday.

The Razorbacks will play California, San Francisco and Tulane as part of the three-day event. It will be Arkansas' first trip to the Bay Area since a series at Cal in 2010.

Arkansas signed up for the trip two years ago, but was unsure until this week whether any games would be played at AT&T Park. Had the Giants' park been unavailable for any or all of the event, Cal's campus in Berkeley would have been utilized.

Other notable nonconference games for the Razorbacks in 2014 include a midweek home series against Nebraska. Other future tournaments for Arkansas include a trip to South Alabama in 2015 and the 2016 Minute Maid Classic at the Astros' home stadium in Houston.
