Tuesday recruiting tidbits

Arkansas linebackers coach Randy Shannon has highly sought receiver Ryeshene Bronson planning an official visit to Fayetteville.

Linebacker Sharieff Rhaheed, a LSU commitment, said Arkansas linebackers coach Randy Shannon visited his school on Monday. Video highlights click here

Rhaheed, 6-4, 207, 4.7 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Fort Pierce, (Fla.) Fort Pierce Central said he likes the resume of Shannon and what he accomplished at Miami. He said he wants to visit Arkansas when his coach takes him on a tour of schools this summer but nothing has been set up at this time.

Rhaheed recorded 83 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and 9 sacks this past season, his first year to play linebacker.

He said he now stands at 13 offers after Arkansas extended one about about three weeks ago.

2015 point guard Jimmy Whitt of Columbia, (Mo.) Hickman received a scholarship offer from Arkansas tonight, according to his father, James, who first tweeted out the offer.

Springdale ath. Deandre Murray received a scholarship offer from Arkansas State this morning. The offer is his first.
