Thursday recruiting tidbits

Wisconsin offensive lineman commitment Jaden Gault of Monona Grove, Wisconsin said Arkansas offensive line coach Sam Pittman will visit his school today. He's also been in contact Coach Bret Bielema via Twitter.

Pittman visited Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Xavier High School on Wednesday to check on tight end Matt Nelson, who has an offer from Arkansas.

Nelson, 6-8, 250, 4.8 also has offers from Notre Dame, Nebraska, Stanford, Iowa, Iowa State and others.

Word is Arkansas defensive line coach Charlie Partridge is at Ft. Lauderdale, (Fla.) St Thomas Aquinas this morning to check on several prospects, including running back Madre London, receiver Corey Holmes, defensive back Al Harris, quarterback Wade Freebeck and defensive lineman Anthony Moten. Holmes, Harris and Moten have offers from Arkansas.

Offensive lineman Bill Weber, 6-5, 310 of Coppell, Texas received his second offer on Wednesday when Tulsa extended one. He plans to attend Arkansas' camp in June.

Tight end Avery Edwards, 6-5, 230, 4.6 of Raleigh, (N.C.) Ravenscroft School said tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. will visit his school on Friday. He has 10 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, his lone SEC offer.
