Wednesday recruiting tidbits

Defensive end Gerri Green will be visiting Arkansas this weekend.

Ole Miss safety commitment C.J. Hampton, 6-1, 198, 4.48 of Meridian, Ms. said he hopes to visit Arkansas in July. Defensive coordinator Chris Ash visited his school last week.

A 3.7 grade point average student, Hampton is considering going into law. He said he communicates with defensive quality control coach Brian Early on Twitter and mostly discusses academics.

Hampton will participate in The Opening at Nike Headquaters this summer.

Cornerback Al Harris Jr., 5-11, 170, 4.41 of Ft. Lauderdale, (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas said he definitely wants to visit Arkansas this summer after receiving an offer last week. He now has 15 offers. He likes to talking to defensive line coach Charlie Partridge because of the energy he brings to the conversation. Video highlights click here

Defensive end Gerri Green, 6-4, 4.56 of Greenville, (Ms.) Weston is planning to visit Arkansas mid to late June. He said he heard great things about Arkansas from his teammate and linebacker Traver Jung, who visited the Hogs Tuesday. Jung told him that he needed to get to Fayetteville and see what the Razorbacks have to offer.

Ole Miss, Miss. St., Auburn and Tennessee has offered. He believes the Hogs will offer if he visits. He's communicating with defensive line coach Charlie Partridge and defensive quality control coach Brian Early.

Green reports a 23 ACT score and a 3.79 GPA.

West Virginia transfer and small forward Keaton Miles, 6-7, 212 pounds said Arkansas Coach Mike Anderson likes his versatility and believes he can flourish in the system. He plans to visit the Hogs June 14, Utah on June 7 and Colorado State on June 21.

Miles said his parents plan to visit with him and his father will celebrate his birthday during the Arkansas visit on June 15.

Razorback defensive line commitment Bijhon Jackson said he's probably done with any camps other than Arkansas. He said attending camp at Alabama isn't a possibility now.

Outside linebacker Alvin Moore, 6-1, 195, 4.38 of Bassfield, Ms. said he's hoping to visit Arkansas soon. He has offers from Ole Miss, Louisiana Tech and Southern Miss. He said there's a chance the Hogs would offer if he visited.

Freshman shooting guard Adrian Moore, 6-4, 165 has enrolled at North Little Rock High School. He played at Conway this past season. Future150.com rates him the No. 20 prospect in the nation in the 2016 class.

Texas A&M visited Springdale Har-Ber on Tuesday to check on defensive lineman Josh Frazier. Arkansas has visited the school twice.

Joe T. Robinson quarterback Kristian Thompson, 5-11, 208 has scored the highest SPARQ rating at his position for the 2015 class, according to coach Jeff Risner. He recorded a 4.63 40 times, 4.50 pro-shuttle time, 30.5 vertical and a 38.5 power ball throw for a 94.71 rating.

Running back Shai Mckenzie of Washington, Pa. said he will cut his list of 12 schools to maybe seven on June 20. The Hogs are in his top 12.
