Tight end DeAndre Goolsby, 6-5, 232 pounds, of Derby, Kan., has committed to Florida over numerous scholarship offers, including ones from Ohio State, Oklahoma, Kansas, Kansas State, Ohio State and Oregon. He plans to enroll in January.

Goolsby said no coaches knew of his decision until his announcement. Felt the Florida was the right place for him. He said he knew he was going to Florida about two weeks after his official visit.
