With Terrelle Pryor out and Matt Flynn long gone, Oakland added Tyler Wilson to its 53-man roster for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.

Matt McGloin started for the Raiders, but Wilson served as the backup quarterback in case anything happened to McGloin.

Oakland drafted Wilson in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL draft, but waived him following preseason. Arkansas' record-setting quarterback then joined the Raiders' practice squad before being added to the 53-man roster last week.

The first single-game record Tyler Wilson broke at Arkansas was Ryan Mallett's record for most passing yards in a game. He threw for 510 yards against Texas A&M on Oct. 1, 2011, in Arlington, Texas. His leading receiver in that game was Jarius Wright, who recorded 13 receptions for 281 yards in the 42-38 win over the Aggies.

On Sunday, Wright was one of three players to record a game-high 69 yards in Minnesota's 41-20 loss to Seattle. The Warren native caught three passes and two of them were touchdowns Sunday against the Seahawks.

Another former Razorback on the Raiders' roster, Darren McFadden, was inactive Sunday. McFadden missed his third game of the season because of a hamstring injury. The two-time Doak Walker award winner has never played a full NFL season.

Other active former Arkansas players on Sunday included Bills tight end Chris Gragg, who caught five passes for 25 yards and his first career touchdown reception in Buffalo's last game on Nov. 10, Eagles tackle Jason Peters, Dolphins guard Nate Garner, Giants running back Peyton Hillis, Steelers running back Felix Jones, Lions cornerback Chris Houston, Packers long snapper Brett Goode, Bears linebacker Jerry Franklin, Seahawks guard Alvin Bailey, Texans running back Dennis Johnson, Chiefs running back Knile Davis. Titans safety George Wilson was active for the Titans Thursday.

Quarterback Ryan Mallett and defensive end Jake Bequette are expected to be active Monday night for the Patriots.
