Swanson expected to play Saturday

— Arkansas center Travis Swanson is expected to play Saturday against No. 14 South Carolina.

Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema said Swanson, who injured his knee in the third quarter of a loss at Florida over the weekend, could be held out of Tuesday's practice as a precaution. Bielema said following the game against the Gators that Swanson had suffered a slight MCL tear.

Swanson was a preseason first-team all-SEC selection and is one of Arkansas' four team captains. He is expected to be a high-round NFL Draft pick next spring.

Bielema also said cornerback Will Hines could return this season after undergoing surgery Sunday to repair a broken right arm. Bielema said the recovery period for Hines' surgery is 6 to 8 weeks and the sophomore could play in the Razorbacks' final two games if his recovery goes well.

Hines had posted on Twitter Sunday he wouldn't play again this season.
