Tuesday recruiting tidbits

Defensive lineman Zaycoven Henderson plans to officially visit the Razorbacks.

Arkansas cornerback commitment Chris Murphy will not be visiting Washington State this weekend, according to his defensive back coach Cedric Dickerson.

Dickerson said it was a misunderstanding. He said Murphy has notified the PAC 12 school he would not be visiting.

Murphy, 5-10, 180, 4.4 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Marietta, (Ga.) Lassiter High School chose the Hogs over about 20 other scholarship offers, including Missouri, Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt, North Carolina and Purdue.

Defensive lineman Zaycoven Henderson, 6-2 1/2 305, 4.96 of Longview, Texas said he will officially visit Arkansas Nov. 2. He has 29 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, TCU, Baylor, Ole Miss and Texas,

Tight end Hale Hentges of Jefferson City (Mo.) Helias had 6 receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown in last week's game. He has 25 catches for 400 yards and 4 touchdowns for the season. He has scholarship offers from Arkansas, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska, Indiana and Tennessee.

Jonesboro sophomore Denzel Mitchell has 94 rushes for 834 yards, 7 TDs and a 40 yard reception for a TD in five games. He has offers from Ole Miss and Arkansas State and his drawing strong interest from Arkansas.

Arkansas 2015 offensive line commit Colton Jackson graded out at 83% and had 4 pancake blocks and allowed no sacks on Friday.

Junior defensive lineman Kraig Howe, 6-3, 255, 5.0 of Kettering, Ohio, Archbishop Alter said he had planned to visit Arkansas for he South Carolina game this weekend but the earlier kickoff will prohibit that. He said he plans to visit Nov. 2 for the Auburn game. He has offers from Pittsburgh and Illinois whil receiving interest from Arkansas and others.

Travis Wilson of www.wissports.net reports defensive lineman Craig Evans, 6-3, 300, 5.0 of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin has added scholarship offers from UCLA, Boise State, Michigan and Rutgers. He also reports Evans will officially visit Michigan State after the season and may visit UCLA.

Evans is a major target of the Hogs.
