WHAT'S AT STAKE
South Carolina has done what it needs to remain a part of the Southeastern Conference championship discussion following a 41-30 loss at Georgia on Sept. 7, winning three straight games — including a pair of SEC contests. The Gamecocks, however, begin a three-game road trip on Saturday, beginning at Arkansas before traveling to Tennessee and Missouri. Arkansas has lost three straight and is in jeopardy of missing a bowl game for a second straight season.

Arkansas secondary vs. South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw. The Razorbacks have struggled in the secondary at times this season, particularly during their three-game losing streak. Their test became even more difficult this week when starting CB Will Hines suffered a broken arm in last week's loss to Florida. Shaw was 17-of-20 passing for 262 yards against Kentucky last week.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
South Carolina: DE Jadeveon Clowney. The standout All-American returned to practice on Wednesday after missing last week's win over Kentucky with a strained muscle near his ribcage. His status, however, remains uncertain.
Arkansas: QB Brandon Allen. After returning from a shoulder injury, and performing well, against Texas A&M two weeks ago, Allen was harassed throughout last week's game at Florida. The sophomore was battered by the Gators and finished 17-of-41 passing for 164 yards.
