Fayetteville TE O'Grady getting noticed
Junior tight end C.J. O'Grady is gaining interest from Arkansas and several other top SEC schools with his play this season.
Fayetteville junior C.J. O'Grady continues to excel in his first year to play tight end and major colleges are taking notice.
O'Grady, 6-4, 230, 4.8 seconds on the 40 yard dash, played quarterback in junior high school and as a sophomore but moved to tight end this season. Going into Friday’s game against Rogers Heritage, he had 18 receptions for 402 yards and 6 touchdowns.
He had two touchdown receptions in the Bulldogs' 28-27 victory against the War Eagles.
Arkansas, Arkansas State, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and LSU are some of the schools showing interest. It shouldn't be too long before he receives his first offer.
