Thursday recruiting tidbits

Linebacker Jimmie Swain

Arkansas offensive line commitment Jovan Pruitt of Dallas Bishop Dunne is expected to visit Baylor this weekend.

2015 cornerback Deven Hammond of Brusly, Louisiana said he'll visit Arkansas on Nov. 21 and then travel down to Little Rock for the Mississippi State game the next day. He said he has been communicating with offensive line coach Sam Pittman. Video highlights click here

As reported in Wednesday story, junior defensive end Hjalte Froholdt of Denmark added an offer from Alabama while on his visit. He also visited Florida State but did not receive an offer. He'll wrap up his visits by attending Michigan's home game on Saturday. He and his parents leave for Denmark on Monday. Earlier interview click here

Arkansas tight end Ravian Pierce of Plantation, Florida is expected to be cleared to play next week. He broke his foot the week leading up to his official visit for the Texas A&M game.

Highly sought linebacker Jimmie Swain of Olathe, (Kan.) North, offensive lineman Brain Wallace Jr and his father along with sophomore shooting guard Malik Monk and his brother, Marcus will be on the Recruiting Thursday radio show tonight.

Swain will be on with us from 7:05 to 7:30. Wallace on from 7:35 to 7:45 while the Monks are scheduled to be on at 7:50. The show can be heard on 93.3 FM in Little Rock, 96.3 FM in Ft. Smith, 104.3 FM in Harrison and 92.1 FM in Fayetteville. To listen online click here

Pruitt announced he plans to take his five official visits.

He said later that Missouri, USC and Ole Miss are possibilities for his fifth visit.
