Luigs to speak at LRTD Club

Jonathan Luigs, former University of Arkansas football player, won the Rimington Trophy as a Razorback before his NFL career.

Former Arkansas center Jonathan Luigs will be the guest speaker at today’s Little Rock Touchdown Club meeting.

Luigs, who attened Pulaski Academy, earned all-American honors at Arkansas and won the 2007 Rimington Trophy as the most outstanding center in college football. He also played one year for the Cincinnati Bengals. Luigs was a first-team all-SEC selection from 2006-2008.

Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. and the program will begin at 11:50 a.m. Admission is $20 for members and $30 for non-members.

VOLLEYBALL Razorbacks beat Georgia

Meredith Hays and Hayley Koop each had 18 kills to lead Arkansas to a 25-23, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23 victory over Georgia on Sunday at Barnhill Arena in Fayetteville.

Koop’s 18 kills did a career-high and Emily Helm had 23 digs to help the Razorbacks improve to 13-7 overall and 6-3 in the SEC.
