Elite 2015 prospect sets visit
Arkansas will host junior running back Chris Warren III for the Texas A&M game on Sept. 28.
Warren, 6-2, 227, 4.4 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Rockwall, Texas is considered to be one of the top junior prospects in the nation after rushing 174 times for 1,059 yards and 13 touchdowns as a sophomore.
He has 13 scholarship offers, including Texas, Baylor, Colorado, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Ohio State while the Razorbacks and numerous others are showing strong interest. His mother, K'tara will accompany him on the visit.
National recruiting analyst Tom Lemming of CBS Sports Network said Warren is an elite talent.
“He’s a powerful runner and can make quick cuts and knows how to lower his shoulder and ram for extra yardage,” said Lemming of Warren. “He also has the vision, balance, and cutting ability to take it to the house."
Running backs coach Joel Thomas is the lead recruiter for Warren.
