Hogs still at the top for LB
Arkansas keeps getting better in the eyes of highly recruited linebacker Sharieff Rhaheed. He made his second trip to Arkansas in about a month and half when he officially visited the Hogs’ during their 34-14 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette. Video highlights click here
“I like it more and more every time,” Rhaheed said.
Rhaheed, 6-4, 212 pounds, 4.7 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Fort Pierce (Fla.) Central visited the Razorbacks in July and named the Hogs in his top five. Prior to his latest trip, he named Arkansas his top school and left saying the same.
“It seems like I would fit in,” Rhaheed said. “The first time there weren’t any students on campus and this time I was able to see the campus life and the atmosphere. It seemed cool, especially on game day.”
Rhaheed, who recorded 83 tackles, including 14 tackles for loss and 9 sacks as a junior, was able to talked to Coach Bret Bielema about three or four times
“He said Arkansas has everything I need,” he said.
Naming his favorite part of the visit was easy.
“The game was the highlight, the fans,” Rhaheed said. “They play freshmen. Alex (Collins) had like a 130 yards and Denver (Kirkland) played. They’re pretty much a young team. The defensive line turned it up in the second half.”
