Hogs offer NLR's Hill
North Little Rock’s K.J. Hill continues to prove why he's among the best in the 2015 class.
Junior receiver K.J. Hill has received a scholarship offer from Arkansas today after his showing Friday night against Lake Hamilton with tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. and receivers coach Michael Smith in attendance.
Hill, 6-0, 178, 4.5 seconds in the 40 yard dash, had five receptions for 71 yards and two touchdowns while also returning a kickoff 99 yards for a score in North Little Rock's 55-13 victory. The offer means a lot.
“The Razorbacks, I’ve been watching them since I was little," he said.
Last year, Hill had 48 receptions for 845 yards, 11 touchdowns and 27 carries for 233 yards and 3 touchdowns at Bryant and was named to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Super Sophomore team.
He attended last week's game against La.-Lafayette and is attending tonight's Samford game.
He took part in Arkansas’ Prospect Camp in June but was hampered by a hip injury and made it difficult for the Hogs to evaluate him. He also has an offer from Auburn.
