Friday recruiting tidbits

Arkansas has been sending a steady flow of mail to receiver Shadell Bell.

Junior receiver Shadell Bell, 6-3, 197, 4.58 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Decatur, (Ga.) Columbia said Arkansas is one of the schools sending him the most mail.

He has eight scholarship offers, including Alabama, Tennessee, Duke, Virginia, Marshall and North Carolina State. He said there's a very good chance he'll visit should the Hogs offer. Video highlights click here

Arkansas Coach Mike Anderson watched North Little Rock work out on Thursday. The Charging Wildcats feature Hog point guard commitment Anton Beard, junior guard Kevaughn Allen and sophomore guard Adrain Moore.

Defensive tackle Zaycoven Henderson of Longview, Texas said on Twitter he thinks he'll take official visits to Texas, Baylor,Texas Tech, Ole Miss and Arkansas. Hog receiver Eric Hawkins attended Longview High School.

Junior athlete Avery Johnson of Highland will visit Ole Miss for the LSU game on Oct. 19. He's received significant mail from Arkansas, Memphis, Cincinnati and Miss. St.

Rogers linebacker Zack Wary, 6-4, 220, 4.4 has been invited to the Max Emfinger All American game.

Offensive lineman Zach Rogers, an Arkansas 2015 commitment, received about 18 letters from Arkansas on Wednesday. Coach Bret Bielema has sent a letter on a daily basis encouraging him.

Rogers had ACL surgery on Tuesday.

Defensive lineman Craig Evans, 6-3, 300, 5.0 of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin said his flight will arrive at 11:30.

Defensive back Shawn Boone and receiver Johnnie Dixon of Palm Beach Gardens, (Fla.) Dwyer will arrive at 12:20.

Athlete Tyreek Hill, 5-9, 185, 4.28 of Garden City Community College will arrive at 9:20 am.

Arkansas linebacker commitment Khalia Hackett, 6-2, 208, 4.63 of Douglasville, (Ga.) South Paulding is driving in and will arrive about one or two Friday afternoon.

Athlete Tyreek Hill, 5-9, 185, 4.28 of Garden City Community College did not make the trip to Fayetteville for his expected official visit. Appears he missed his flight.

Hackett, Dixon, Boone and Evans are on campus.
