CBS considering Arkansas-Florida
Arkansas cornerback Tevin Mitchel runs an interception back for a touchdown during the Razorbacks' game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights at High Point Solutions Stadium in Piscataway, N.J.
FAYETTEVILLE Arkansas' Oct. 5 game at Florida is in consideration to be shown on CBS.
The game is one of three the network is considering for its "SEC on CBS" game of the week telecast. The other games being considered are Ole Miss at Auburn and Georgia at Tennessee. A determination will be made Sunday.
Arkansas is 3-1 this season following a 28-24 loss at Rutgers over the weekend. No. 20 Florida is 2-1 and coming off a 31-17 win over Tennessee. The Gators lost their starting quarterback, Jeff Driskel, for the season with a broken ankle during the game.
The Razorbacks will host No. 10 Texas A&M this week and the Gators will play at Kentucky. Arkansas last visited Florida in 2009, losing to the then-No. 1 Gators 23-20 on a last-second field goal.
