Wednesday recruiting tidbits

Kicker Cole Hedlund, an Arkansas commitment, is expected to take over kicking duties for Hogs next year.

Kicker Cole Hedlund, an Arkansas commitment, will attend the Hogs' game against Texas A&M. He recently received an offer from the Aggies. He said Tuesday night that he's still firm in his pledge to the Razorbacks.

Hedlund of Argyle, Texas has made 5 of 8 field goals with a long of 57 yards and is 21 of 21 on PATs this season.

Junior defensive end-tight end JaMario Bell of Junction City had 4 receptions for 34 yards and 2 touchdowns and recorded 10 tackles on Friday. Bell is an Arkansas commitment.

Junior running back Jaqwis Dancy of Junction City had 39 carries for 246 yards in Friday's game. The 39 rushes are second most in school history, 246 yards is 8th best.

Highly regarded junior offensive lineman Rob Dowdy 6-7, 285, 5.0 of Westerville South High School in Ohio and his mother will leave after his game on Friday night and drive to Fayetteville through the night for the Texas A&M game. He has about eight offers and has the Hogs at the top of his list.

Little Rock Catholic junior athlete D.J. Brown will be attending the A&M game. He has 18 receptions for 267 yards and 3 touchdowns for the season.

Arkansas junior quarterback commitment Ty Storey of Charleston has completed 88 of 128 passes for 1,105 yards, 10 touchdowns and has 3 interceptions for the the season.
