Wednesday recruiting tidbits

Forward Juwan Morgan received an offer from the Hogs in the spring.

Arkansas is showing strong interest in junior forward Juwan Morgan.

He's been in contact with Razorback Coach Mike Anderson, associate head coach Melvin Watkins and assistant coach Matt Zimmerman.

Morgan, 6-8, 220 of Waynesville, Missouri visited the Hogs for the Savannah State game in December. He said Anderson watched him during a tournament held in Rogers in Dec and Zimmerman attend a couple pf his games and practices.

Waynesville Coach Chris Pilz, who has coached three players who have played at Missouri and former Florida forward Alex Tyus, said Morgan is the best player he's coached. Pilz's wife and mother are from Marmaduke.

Morgan reports offers from Tulsa and Missouri State but is expected to see his recruiting blow up during the spring and summer.

Offensive lineman Shane Lemieux of Yakima, Washington has several offers and expects Arkansas to extend an offer in the near future. He said he's spoken to offensive line coach Sam Pittman and is really interested in Arkansas and hopes to visit this summer. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Hamburg offensive and defensive lineman Jeremiah Williams, 6-31/2, 295 has a chance to be one of the better prospects in the 2015 class. He's drawing interest from Arkansas, LSU, Missouri and Memphis.

Coach Mike Cox coached former Hog and NFL lineman Shawn Andrews at Camden Fairview and said Williams isn't too far behind Andrews talent wise.

Cox is also high on sophomore cornerback Lorenzo Watkins.

Receiver Brandon Singleton of Boutte, Louisiana said he plans to attend several camps this summer, including Arkansas. Video highlights CLICK HERE

South Carolina extended an offer to Pine Bluff tight end Will Gragg on Tuesday.

Hog defensive end signee Anthony Brown of Miami said he's up to 247 pounds.
